Summer means cricket and lots of it. Summer of Cricket, a TVC for Sky Sports, captures the moment that feeling takes hold: when every lunch break becomes a Test match, a pile of jumpers becomes the stumps and every kid on the playground is opening the batting for England.

The film follows a series of schoolmates as their imaginations catapult them from an inner city playground to the lush outfield of The Oval, and into the company of England’s Joe Root. Playground games blur into the real thing and back again, celebrating a summer of live cricket on Sky Sports and the dreams it sparks in the next generation of players.
